A6- Art & Technology

Image
I used a collaboration of my knowledge of sign language and technology into a creative twist for this project. When thinking about what body parts I should use, I thought this was a great chance to use an old song I learned in sign language as a story. The song goes, "I'm on top of the world, waiting on this for awhile." I tried to incorporate movement to the signs, as no sign is actually still, but printing them out became a challenge.

A5- Grid Art

For my grid art, I used a 30 x 30 grid and attached beads in order to make a sailor's boat. This piece was inspired by Tampa's very own, Gasparilla, as I tried to use the most colorful beads to make a blend of the sky and water surrounding the ship.

A3- Flip Book

https://youtu.be/O90uOlZuuW4 This piece represents daily life, struggles, little things spiraling, but also the simple things coming together and always moving on. A flip book is a continuous thing, needing slight changes to occur to make the full picture and tell a story. Life is the same, always slowly changing and turning into new things.
