A4- Electronic Essay

Evolution of the Automobile             In a mere 127 years, the simple horse and carriage evolved into the automobile, now with the technologies to drive itself, use the sun’s power, park itself, and have a GPS installed ready to go anywhere. The first automobile ever invented is still a controversial topic and now a matter of opinion to most people. Karl Benz however, is given credit to being the first inventor. He was from Germany and created this technology around 1886. He patented his Benz Patent-Motorwagen, making cars available during the early 20 th century.             The simple need for transportation has always been a part of our history. From the earliest of times, people needed to get from one place to another for work, housing, and visiting. Although we evolved so much in this past century, we still have the same necessities. The convenience of a vehicle was practical for people to instantly go along with the idea. Benz’s first car was a gas-powere

For my camera obscura project, I tried multiple different windows in my dorm room as well as different lenses. After these many tries, my best attempt came out with my prescription glasses and  my common room window's view of the sky. Blog Post B4- Stage Door

Growing up 15 minutes away from the city, I was fortunate enough to get the chance to see many broadway plays. With each so uniquely amazing and captive, it is hard to say a favorite. It teaches you that so

A1- Opera Essay

The Golden Cockerel             When analyzing art, a lot of the time every detail, mark, and placement are there for a specific reason. After watching the opera, The Golden Cockerel , I can see that their details are truly significant to the audience. Every prop, backdrop, and outfit brings the overall scene and story together. The Golden Cockerel was completed in 1907 and premiered for the first time in Moscow in 1909. While Rimsky-Korsakov, composer of this opera, was writing, the Russian Empire and the Empire of Japan fought over the imperialism of Machuria and Korea. By using satirical aspects of the Russian government, imperialism, and war going on, he connected his audience in a way to provoke even more emotion. Due to the satirical feel of the opera, some were even against him, such as the Moscow Governor General Sergei Gershelman. Rimsky-Korsakov unfortunately passed before even seeing his last opera be performed, possibly making the opera even more important fo
